About Felicia

My name is Felicia Lind and I’m an aspiring author of stories set in Georgian England.

Usually writers will tell you that they’ve always wanted to be writers and started writing at the age of five and just kept going until they were published. That, I’m afraid, is not me. I did write a book at five, but it was highly experimental. I still remember my chagrin when my unimaginative mother insisted that I shouldn’t have taken out all the vowels.

Perhaps that initial disappointment in my audience’s lack of comprehension of my artistic vision was why it would take me almost 30 years to have another go – I really couldn’t say. What I do know is that in the meantime I still made up stories in my head – lot of them. And now I have finally dared take the leap, and put them down on paper. I hope you will soon spot me in a bookstore near you!

I have a longstanding fascination with the 18th century and in the spare time I don’t have, I run a blog about 18th century stuff called The Rags of Times where I’m free to talk about stays, frilly shirt and powdered wigs to my heart’s content. I’m also a devoted baker, enthusiastic chef, amateur photographer, dog lover, dedicated tech geek, avid movie quoter and general music addict.
